That's right. My 2½, 17-course degree course starts officially on 30 Jul. Simply said, I got my offer of acceptance. haha! Been waiting for it for a while already and it finally arrived this morning. Flash In The Pan?

It seems like I am updating my bloggie more often again. Finally... This old bloggie of mine was always maintained by weekly or monthly entries. Somehow, I put in more entries when I get more peace and quiet.


Here's my two closest friends from CSCC. Yes, they are both girls and I don't know why.

Anyway, was checking on my web business again and I hope it really isn't another flash in the pan. I have had enough of flashes in the pan already so please make it the real deal. If things go really smoothly, I can start taking my driving lessons next month onwards and after that, get a small car? haha! Sounds good?

I finally came to a decision to add some optional music to my bloggie. Since I don't get much readers, it was pointless for me to embed music into my blog but then, I realized that I can use it as a link for me to access music while in camp. So there it goes, my first featured song from the movie, Music & Lyrics, Way Back Into Love by Hugh Grant & Haley Bennett. The song is simple but pretty catchy. I will look around for more songs that I like soon enough. Always good to have a variety on hand?

Bridge To Terabithia...

Was not exercise with my boss for the past week so not much updates except that I am really shagged out. It is more of a lack of sleep hours than the activities being tiring. I would say that it is mentally intriguing. It is hard staying awake, think and react appropriately after the first 2 days. Good thing that I got all those experiences from FO Camps. haha!

I finally caught Bridge To Terabithia, a movie made from my sec sch literature text. While I hate literature, the novel is definitely a good novel. Touching and somewhat with some traces of similarity with My Girl. Anyway, watched the movie yest with Girl. Was still at home when she said she ended class earlier so rushed down on a cab. haha! Meet up with AiJia Mummy and saw her new hairstyle though I find the hairstyle weird but Girl said that its nice leh... haha! Clashing views from the opposite sexes... Ate lunch at Manhattan Fish Market and I thought I behaved a bit like a hungry ghost. Girl didn't finish even half of her drink and main course loh. Think of all those African children again! Walked around chit chatting before ending up at the arcade. We spent almost $30 playing the candy machine to catch some bears. Was pretty good at first and caught the strawberry pillow with $5. The irritating thing is that pair of damn black pigs that I can't seem to catch but just don't want to give up. I caught a blue blushing monkey as well but sorry, no pictures. Apparently, the fact of she knowing me is meant to be kept rather low-profile. haha!

Back to the movie, I think the portrayal of the novel is carried off quite well with AnnaSophia Robb playing Leslie expertly. Yes, she's a cutie pie! I could hear many people taking out their tissue papers. Kinda expected it when I turned and saw a really big drop of tears rolling out of Girl's eye. She tried to hide her crying face from me though... Dunno what are girls thinking...

To disappoint my Khaki, it's not a hot date like you suggested lah. haha! Just chit chatting and walking around quite aimlessly until almost 11pm before I sent Girl back. I got off at Eunos though, on the demand of my cousin to rush back to Orchard to celebrate Peixx2's birthday. haha! Hanging out with my cousins is fun as always. Stupidly funny and always full of comedy. I think that's what people call Family Fun. haha!

Going to go pompom soon to meet Sel, Lisar & ZC for a KTV session. Damn, all of them sing better than me siaz... haha!

Friendster's Not Enough?

I was checking my abandoned Hotmail account to check for any stray emails and I came to realized that many people are sending me invitations to Flixster, Tagged and Multiply etc. It just seems like there's so many social networking websites nowadays. However, I feel sufficient with only Friendster and WhoLivesNearYou. Oh, I got an account on MySpace as well but it is mainly for my marketing efforts. I need a MySpace presence for my web business after all. I registered on imeem.com as well but it is mainly for music streaming while in camp. Otherwise, I don't use it at home.

I have decided to set a target for my web business now. I want to try and put some efforts into earning more than US$500/mth. Yes, that's my target. I have been quite diligent in doing a monthly direction review for the past 3 months so I hope the effort will pay off well. I had been on $500/mth before so it shouldn't be hard to get back to that level. It will be damn awesome if I can get back to that level since I will be leaving the service soon. Time to source for other income sources! haha!

Random Random...

It's a first for me. I hope it's going to be a great experience for me since I will be meeting new people. I am going on Exercise with my boss from the coming Monday. I doubt I will be getting any internet access for that week but I think it is good to be away from the computer once in a while. Always go to get back to nature? haha! I was spending quite a bit of my time today doing the routine work before I went to pick up some stuff for me to bring out of camp.

Anyway, not much else to add except a Happy Birthday to JingYing and advanced Happy Birthday to Khaki & Eunice!

Steamboat + Spiderman 3

Spent most of my weekend outdoors at Suntec area. I had half day off on Friday but decided to head home instead of going down to SP to meet up with SeeJun. Friday went by quite uneventfully. Woke up with Helen's sms in my inbox jio-ing down to Suntec for the steamboat that we missed. Met up with her and AiJia mummy in the afternoon and walked around. Somehow, we spent quite a bit of time in Aussino shopping for bedsheets, kinda weird lah. AiJia got a discount card so I got myself a really comfy set of bedsheets. Its really comfy! haha! Got ourselves Yami as usual and went in for our steamboat at 6pm. Steamboat was so-so only. I believe I got more liquid into me than actual food. haha!

I caught Spiderman 3 with Girl which name shall not be revealed. haha! Anyway, travelled around quite a bit today. We met up in Orchard then went down to Vivo then to City Hall before sending her home. I would consider Spidey 3 a much darker movie compared to the earlier 2 movies. The movie brought some insight on some reality that even the best person can have a darker side that's seldom revealed. I find the movie quite engaging in general. I am not that sure about the ending since Sandman just disappeared and there's no attempt to hint on a Spidey 4 which I think is really possible. Anyway, we headed next to New York New York for dinner. Though it is agreed that we will do some shopping but then, I think we found ourselves chatting more leh. hahaha! Don't ask me why but the freq match up as the outing dragged on. haha! Chatting is good after all since I get to know people better while chatting and I only need to use my ears and mouth. Thus, my eyes are free to roam and observe the surroundings...

I guess that's about all to my rather eventful weekend... Till the next time? haha!

Aftermath

It took quite a while to calm down but I did anyway. Thanks to Khaki for chatting with me while I neared boiling point and sharing your steamy adventures! Also to felicia who was chatting with me for the past few days oso lah. haha! I am back to normal but a bit heavy headed due to my nap a while ago. That's why I don't nap, I don't like the 'rested but not enough' feeling. It impedes the thinking process.

Anyway, went for XiaoZhen's birthday dinner session on Sunday. Though over, I still want to say, 'Belated Happy Birthday, XiaoZhen!' Hope you liked the present lah but please... Use it only when you recover... After the dinner we went AMK for dinner and KTV at Kbox. haha! Sang quite a bit but the cough got in the way too often. haha!

Supposed to go Sentosa today but the activity got cancelled. Maybe the response was too low? haha! Actually only going to meet up with the people halfway through after meeting up with felicia de. All in all, plans chang fast and minds switch fast too. I will be staying at home to rest for the only day of the whole long weekend. haha! In short, BURNT!
