Just When I am Taking My Break...

As always, every time I am taking a break from work, my body starts failing me to repair itself while it is not stressed to perform. I guess that's the type of budy I have... My body don't fall apart when I am on duty, doing work and charging up knolls. Somehow I can managed to hold together and keep going when others are complaining or whining but then, things start to change when I start to quieten down to rest. Once that 'mode' is activated, fever set in, headaches starts... WTF! Just when I thought I can rest and relax, my body totally rest and relax to repair itself... Maybe I should turn to having some hibernation sessions instead.

The past 3 days are filled with numerous bouts of headaches while I had a slight fever that I escaped by taking a panadol extra and nap. So much for clearing leave and I am approach returning to work again. I hope everything is fine while I was away. I always fear things falling apart when I am not around...

Lastly, congrats for Ade on escaping from the dreadlord! Too bad that you are going to miss the bonus though. haha!

Call Of Duty 2

After getting my hands on Call Of Duty 2, I finally got the time to install the bloody 4GB game on my computer. I usually don't even consider installing my games on other drives other than C:\. Anyway, I got into the midst of the Russian resistance right after installing the game. One good thing about Call Of Duty series is always their music, dying quotes, realistic effects and great scenery when you are not busy dodging bullets. This time round, I don't even need to optimize my settings, other than changing my resolution to 1024 instead of 800.

Gameplay wise, I think it is still 8/10 for me at least. At Regular mode, I had to replay some mission several times. Once you get used to the scripted storyline, you will know what to expect. This version is mainly on teamwork, unlike the previous Call Of Duty and United Offensive. There's no commando missions thus far that I have encountered. That's a good thing, I don't like to charge into a room of Germans without any backups. I am serving my National Service in the army now so I know that doing that is suicide. The AI is pretty good too, they know when to throw the grenades to flush me out and push me back. But then, I realised that we are throwing grenades at each other at around the same time so both sides don't gain much ground.

So much for the gaming review for Call Of Duty 2. I will be going out with Camille again today to watch Casino Royale. Since I am going to Jubilee to pick her up, I will be buying the book Eragon. I saw the trailer of the movie and I think the movie's going to be as good as Lord Of The Rings. At least there's dragon in the story instead of the weird wraiths from LOTR. Rainy Weekend

It's just another rainy weekend for this rainy season but then, it is still one of my favorite time of the year. Holidays are near, another year is creeping around the corner and I get to watch the rain from my window. Pure & simplistic enjoyment in my room. I still haven't got around to paint my room with a color though. Even my mama is starting to bitch around my papa being lazy and not wanting to paint the walls.

Like how Adela puts it, I think I am in a financial 'rot'. My money is being rotted away from me by AIA due to my rashness to sign up for an insurance, as if a grenade can hit me in my office. haha! Time to reconsider my financial situation le bah.

I spent my Sat at my grandaunt's house fixing my aunt's computer and earned $50 from them. I am usually the designated computer whiz for my extended family tree so I can such odd jobs from time to time. What's more? My aunt drove me to Jubilee to pick up Camille for our movie date. Almost 3 yrs since we last went out together. She's still as fair as ever but life must be good for her with a bit more 'meat' overall. haha! Not fat just not as thin as before. haha! Bumped into ZiQing when we were going to the eating place beside TCC and he said BaiYu is inside. Kinda stunned but went ahead with my plans for the evening lah. Watched Death Note and realized that I am still not that into thrillers. They tire the brains for me. haha! Anyway, took some pretty nice photos with her and god, my K800i is good and clear. haha!

Murdoch finally got back to me and doing Business Informatics will take me 2 yrs.

绝对Superstar

Just watched Goong followed by 绝对Superstar. There's more pretty girls in the top 40 this time, I think. They have a judge in the panel that judge them or give comments on their dressing and dress sense. Had a good laugh watching the show with my colleages, it is always good to watch TV together in a group. I hope this year's Superstar is going to be as good as last year but then, I don't think I should vote anymore. It's quite a burden on the handphone bill leh. haha!

My sis jio-ed me to go watch S.H.E. concert. Should I go watch Hebe? haha!

Boredom...

Nothing much to blog about actually but just wanted to blog something. I think I am indeed forgetful regarding work matters and exceptionally good at remembering those small small things that people usually remember such as the seating plan of my Pri 6 class and the gossips back then. haha! They come in handy during class gatherings though. Tonite's kinda quiet since Andre's won't be coming back till tml and training branch went to celebrate chongPei's ORD. Another bird leaving this little island nest of ours. It isn't much but at least it is kinda nice and cosy.

Nowhere to go on weekends nowadays since I basically don't date anyone or just too much into my variety shows and TV series at home to go out. Plain laziness influenced my choice and staying at home too. haha! Anyway, maybe I should go jio some friends to come out for a gathering or something lah.

New Banner

I finally updated my banner for the first time in like 3yrs. I feel that the banner don't really fit in with the design so I will be updating it again. haha! Spent the weekend and the days on leave working on my website, AnimeArk.com. I finally got the heart and drive to complete the coding of the layout. Other than that, its my weekly dose of Wo Ai Hei Se Hui, Wo Cai Wo Cai and a new J-drama, Attention Pls. The female lead in that show is freaking cute!
