SIM-RMIT...

I took off yesterday from camp to go for my SIM-RMIT Orientation. It's been 4 years since I am a freshman yet again. The orientation turned out to be alright, nothing as cultural shock as those stuff we do in CSCC. The only stunt I threw? I got sabo-ed to be the Shim loh... haha! Most of my course mates are girls and just as chatty as the girls in CSCC so it's quite easy to communicate. Maybe coz we are all in Business... Anyway, my group got 2nd for the Drag King & Queen competition lah. I am the Shim leh, how can we not win something? haha! With so many years of experience playing freshies in CSCC, it's finally down to RMIT to hit me with a stint as a Shim. haha! It is alright as long as you really heck everything and go get the job done. The prize? Our group get $100 worth of Coffeebean vouchers which we intend to use during the next gathering which our OGLs will organize? haha! Varnakam rockz!

Another shock I got during the orientation came from dear Girlbert Kang who moved on from Anderson to SRJC and unknowingly shown up at SIM as the president of the SIM Singing Club. It is truly shocking as I expected him to go totally into basketball but instead he went into singing. I did sign up to join his club with several of my female course mates though...

I haven't got my hand on the contact list for my group yet so I can only add them on Friendster, MSN & mobile at a later time. They are quiet people but still a rather fun bunch. They had their best moments when I was being dressed up like a girl. Girls! They will always be that way, I guess... haha!

Fantastic Four & 6D...

Went out for a simple movie date with Girl on Sat to catch Fantastic Four since she is going to catch Shrek 3 with someone else. Met up at Plaza Singapura and walked around until she got cravings for Subway cookies and LJS fries. haha! The M&M cookie from Subway is good, not too sweet and sweet enough. At least my teeth didn't ache. haha! Anyway, I booked the tickets in advanced as usual but I only realized that I booked the tickets for VivoCity instead of Plaza. haha! Damn ku-ku lah... Got quite some time left but still took a cab to Vivo and luckily, we were on time. I saw the Transformers trailer before the movie. It is farking cool lah! Anyway, I noticed that Girl is a talkative person in the theatre coz she likes to ask questions. haha! The movie was alright but some cool scenes but pretty much average. I will look forward more to Die Hard 4 and Transformers.

We walked around a bit and went to Pet Safari to see the doggies. haha! She like the West Highland Terrier while I stick to my Papillon and Pomerian. Next stop was Mango which was having 50% Sale. I think enough is said for that? haha! I bumped into Jacob there. I am not the only one in the same plight lah... Actually, I enjoyed shopping as well but I like to sit down more often. We had late dinner at SuperDog. It's my first time there but I like their hotdogs and the fries. Very unique for Singapore at least... The dinner was good, I think.

The intention was to wake up rather early on Sunday due to a rather last-min brunch session with my 6D clique. haha! Only 4 of us but its not bad lah, just chatting, joking and gossiping as usual lah... I will try to organize a supper session soon lah... haha! Taiwan pictures will be up soon, really... haha!

Oh No... Yet Again...

I know my khaki will find it irritating but I want to use the phrase again. It is a flash in the pan yet again! Fark! The earnings for my web business dropped yet again. Somehow, it is not as stable as it should be. Anyway, still no pictures from my Taiwan trip since I am in camp. I will get them up over this weekend, I guess if no laziness set in. haha! I am online quite often lately from camp so anyone free please look me up for a chat... haha!

Back But Lazy

I am back from Taiwan. It's fun and enriching too though it rained most of the time while I was there. However, I am quite lazy so I will update on the trip when I got the time. Till I got the mood...

Pathetic Weather

This is as bad as I can allow myself to take before I go searching for my air-con remote. The weather today is windless, stuff and warm. I tried enduring it during the day by taking a shower but it did not get any better. Thus, I just came out from another shower after turning on the air-conditioning. Such still air in such pathetic weather is not good at all. I hope Taiwan will be embracing me with slightly better weather though I expect things to be pretty warm up there too since it is summer. Just let there be wind, please. No typhoon though. haha!

AMK Hub

It's been a bloody long time since I last hanged out at AMK, not since I graduated from Anderson. Today hung out at the new AMK Hub with Khaki for most part of the day. The hub doesn't have any CoffeeBean, Starbucks or any kind of cafes in it so went over to Jubilee for my late lunch at Man Ting Xiang. It's one of my fav eating place in AMK and from my sec sch days. The prices is not that fantastic for the finger food though. haha! Sat down there, eating & chatting with Khaki till about time for her to meet up with BaoXin. I think I haven't seen BaoXin since graduation but nice to catch up with her. She's still a Maths whiz as usual, studious as always, I guess. haha!

Chatted everything with Khaki, joking, teasing her all day lah... It's weird to have forged a friendship with her only after graduation despite being classmates for 4 years. Like she mentioned before, we were too involved with our own lives back then bah. haha! I think I haven't spoken in English so much lately, been hanging out too much with potato-eating people like Khaki and Girl liao... hahaha!

That's actually quite a bit to blog on but I am currently suffering from a blogger mental block. Words just can't seem to flow out but the emotions are there. I am content at the moment, if anything. 4 days to Taiwan & I won't forget your hairband lah, Khaki.
