Disappointing vPost

I used to make my bill payments for my mobile phone and internet through vPost. However, it seems that vPost is foolish enough to implement a new policy of accepting only credit cards. So vPost decided debit card users are not rich enough for them? Alright, I will just switch over to using my POSB iBanking to pay my bills then. What puzzled me is that there are so many emerging web services trying to get people to use their bill payment services and yet vPost decided to make such a dumb policy. It may be due to fraud but shouldn't locally issued debit cards be accepted as well?
